Ten days, dozens of rooms and a programme that ranges from international headliners to free family sessions: the EFG London Jazz Festival takes over London from Friday 13 to Sunday 22 November 2026. Produced by Serious, performances run across concert halls, clubs and neighbourhood venues rather than one festival site.
The opening weekend
The opening gala, Jazz Voice, is at the Royal Festival Hall on 13 November. On Saturday 14 November — the day of the Lord Mayor's Show — the programme includes Goldie: Dare to Dream with a live band and orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, Asha Puthli at the Barbican and Caravan Palace at British Airways ARC. Other announced acts include Mariza, Melody Gardot, Fatoumata Diawara, GoGo Penguin and the Kronos Quartet.
Free performances and The Jazz Social
The programme also includes free and family events, among them South Asian Jazz on 14 November and Homegrown on 22 November. The Jazz Social returns at City Point near the Barbican with intimate performances, family activity and live broadcasts. The festival mixes free sessions with individually ticketed concerts; there is no single admission ticket for the whole programme.
Check the festival programme for each concert's start time, venue access and ticket availability: those details vary by performance.
This is a citywide programme, not one event in one building. Pick the show first, then plan around its venue: a Barbican matinee and a late set in Soho are a different evening from one concert at the Royal Festival Hall. The free family programme makes the festival more than a run of headline gigs, but each performance still has its own room, time and ticket status.
