Theo's opens a third pizzeria on Rye Lane, Peckham, on 6 November

Theo's has stayed south of the river for a decade, and the third branch does not break the habit. The blistered, puffy-crusted pizzas of Elephant & Castle and Camberwell are coming to 285 Rye Lane.
When
The official launch is at 6pm on Friday 6 November 2026. Before that the kitchen runs soft-launch nights at half price while it tests its ovens and timings; places are drawn from the comments under the announcement on Instagram.
What to expect
The same pizzas as the other two rooms — Time Out's words are "authentically-blackened" and "laden with abundant fresh toppings". A menu for the new site has not been published.
Rye Lane is the right street for it: the stretch between Peckham Rye station and the Rye is where the borough eats out now, and a half-price soft launch on a street that busy fills in an hour. One would go on a weeknight in the first fortnight, before the weekend queues set in, and walk the five minutes from the station rather than drive — there is nowhere to park on Rye Lane and never has been.
